Home – Brighouse Cinema

IMPORTANT NEWSFLASH – The Brighouse Community Cinema is moving. After several happy years in the Assembly Rooms we are moving to

St John’s Church Hall, Rastrick (HD6 1HL)

Good news- the church hall has very few steps so access is much easier. There are two car parks right outside.

Brighouse Community Cinema was set up by volunteers to fill the gap left by the Albert Cinema closing 40 years ago. It is run by the charity “Arts for Brighouse”.

On the third Thursday of every month we set up a top quality cinema in the church hall so that the residents of Brighouse and Rastrick can enjoy an evening at the cinema on their doorstep.

We screen a carefully selected range of films.

Doors open at 7pm with the films starting at 7:30pm. We have an interval during the film so you can enjoy the refreshments on offer which include tea, coffee, soft drinks and ice cream.

We hope you will join us for a great night out at your local, community cinema.
